Highest onboard account charges

Um.... We splurged a bit on a romantic cruise on the BA last May. To be fair, we purchased the UBP and UDP on board so that was about a grand right there. After hitting the casino most nights, a few spa treatments, a golf excursion, and a pretty nice watch.. It was around $4k Maybe more [emoji21]

Like I said, this wasn't a typical cruise and we had the money to relax and not worry so much about funds, but after I saw this post it did hurt a little to remember! Lol!

$400 on our last cruise. But $160 of that was because my BF bought bottles of liquor to take home to a co-worker. We are small spenders on the cruise normally, I only budget about $50 for drinks (total, my BF doesn't drink)

Oh,,,do they do a chefs table on NCL?? I signed hubby up for it and he did it on Princess and loved it. How much is it on. NCL? It was $75 4 years ago on Princess.

Oh...we don't spend a lot on the cruises. In port yes.,.especially if I buy watches or jewelry :)

We reckon (roughly) $100 pppd - 14 day cruise will run us up about $3K (we like a drink or two and some spa/casino action as well as a couple of excursions).

Earlier post of $2200 for 2 days is impressive!

It wasnt. I spent about 400 on booze, 1400 on cigarettes, 300 in casino downloads (after I got slaughtered by the machines) and drinks and tips

Ah - stock up on cheaper smokes - decent sized booze bill - casino punter - we are kindred spirits!

Neither of these were NCL

Our first cruise 8 nights about $10,000.

But that included excursions, specialty restaurants, hairdresser and spa treatments for herself and a little splurge at the Art Auctions, that some hate so much, which in 10 years have increased 20 fold in value, but we knew what we were doing.

Last cruise, also an 8 nighter and pretty similar itinerary, after a couple of hundred OBC our bill was $7.25.

NCL Chef's Table is $99.00. I believe they are still using Version 1 menu... no updates. Had it on the Sun. Very nice.

I will have it again on the Jewel in April, if all goes as planned.

I spent about 1,000 or so on my last cruise. We brought 2 teens and a 6yo. There wasn't much drinking, and we brought soda and Gatorade aboard. Just a few excursions, and the boys liked the arcade.

I'm hoping with all the giveaways in the latest promo, I can keep our next cruise (with just the 2 of us again!) down to something similar to our family cruise. There won't be any major jewelry purchases unless one of us hits big in the casino!!

I have had a few up there in cost. Like my 15 night Transatlantic from Miami to Athens with the exclusive Rome excursion through NCL and other excursions in Naples and other ports.

But the topper was my South American cruise on the Sun. I went to Antarctica on a NCL excursion and that alone was $1,499. We did a day long excursion to an estancia in Buenos Aires with awesome food, (beef), wine and entertainment. Add up everything else on the 14 night cruise and it was a couple more thousand.

It, to date, remains my favorite cruise. Worth every penny.

My bill on the BA 2 nighter was $2200. That didn't include my casino $$$$

Wow I was on the Jan 2 night cruise with you...My friends drink bill alone was $600 and we got free drinks in the casino!!! My bill was like $450 Cigs, Spa, Le Bistro and the gratuities. The casino picked up most of my charges.

Yeah crazy story, you know how they swipe your room key now, well they brought me the wrong card back, I go to the store, pick up 20 cartons for myself (I calculated how many weeks till my next cruise hehe) and 10 for my cousin, they box it up and go to help me to my room,,,,,,the key doesn't work,,,,,,I look at the key and it was someone else's lol. Back to the store, then to guest services,,,,then I let the casino host know what was going on. Crazy crazy crazy. I can only imagine the look on the persons face when they checked their TV for their charges and saw the 2K bill (& credit) lol
