cruiseagain2 Posted March 17, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 17, 2015 What are the blackjack minimums on Liberty of the Seas? Thanks.
waterbug123 Posted March 17, 2015 #2 Share Posted March 17, 2015 I can't speak to Liberty specifically, but usually there is one or maybe two tables with a $15 minimum and everything else is higher. You might find $10 during the day on a sea day. Of course, there are exceptions to everything, but that's been my experience on most RC/X cruises in the past couple of years. copi2boys Posted March 18, 2015 #3 Share Posted March 18, 2015 On our last trips it was $6 at night and $3 during the day. If you got blackjack on a less than $6 bet it was even money.

PompeySailor Posted March 19, 2015 #5 Share Posted March 19, 2015 (edited) Vegas it ain't! CB Not relevant and un-useful as usual to the OP,s question:rolleyes: Have you been in a CR recently or ever;) $5 minimum on all RC ships, with a Mickey mouse $1 side bet, so in essence $6 minimum. Traditionally though will be $10, $25 tables OP hope this helps. Be Lucky!! Edited March 19, 2015 by PompeySailor
Dave85 Posted March 19, 2015 #6 Share Posted March 19, 2015 I've never seen minimums on RCI higher than $10, and those were during prime times. There's usually a less expensive table.

In 12 years playing BJ on RC we have always played on $25 minimum tables, they are there for sure. Now maybe on cruises where there are no CR VIP players they might close the $25 tables down and reduce the min limit. If a CR VIP requests a higher limit table, most CR managers will open one up;) And then the players generally start to join:D

I've never seen a scenario on RCI where one who was looking to pay for as little as possible had to play at a table with higher than $10 minimums. My bad! I've definitely seen those $25 minimum tables... But they're a little rich for my blood :p
Restless24 Posted March 19, 2015 #9 Share Posted March 19, 2015 I've always seen the $6 minimum as well, either played as $5 with the side bet or just a straight $6, which is what I always play as I don't like the gimmick bets. I've seen some recent Cruise Compasses that advertise $3 tables during the day, usually 4:00-7:00 on a port day or something along those lines. I've never seen minimums on RCI higher than $10, and those were during prime times. There's usually a less expensive table. See above. If I recall correctly, it was the same on Quantum in November. It was jam packed and smoky though so I didn't spend as much time then so could be mistaken.

You would be correct, I was not on Brilliance a couple of weeks ago. As we know with RC things are different from ship to ship. BUT in general minimum tables are $5 / $6, and this is what the OP is interested in Guess you were not on Jewel in June, where the table minimums were $100.00:eek: That was invite only;) Edited March 19, 2015 by PompeySailor
Whittyone Posted March 19, 2015 #13 Share Posted March 19, 2015 I would "bet"it is like any casino that I have ever been in. If the tables are full, minimums will be higher, when the casino starts to empty you can find lower minimums on the table games.
LA_CA_GAL Posted March 19, 2015 #14 Share Posted March 19, 2015 On the Allure and the Oasis, the minimum blackjack table was $10. However, there are video machines for BJ, and you can bet $1.

But sea days pretty sure they would of been available But can confirm as someone has already posted there were $3 minimum tables on Jewel in November between 4pm-7pm Taken from Compass Day 7, which was a sea day! Rare shipshape sam Posted March 20, 2015 #20 Share Posted March 20, 2015 (edited) $10 minimum BJ tables at night and they were typically packed. A couple single deck tables with higher minimums with no one or maybe one person most of the time. At least this is what i saw in January on Brilliance. Wanted to play some, but not at $10 minimum. Like $5 and a busy table. I don't lose as fast. :) Edited March 20, 2015 by shipshape sam

At night? Good luck finding minimums below $15. It's been a long time since I recall seeing any at night.

Yep, it was the 3 nighter that we were on on Q. And yes, I USED TO see $5/6 frequently in the evenings. Not anymore. I have seen these minimums in the evening on Voyager and Radiance I see that your Voyager cruise was in '13 I think? Thinking things have changed since then. And Radiance was over in Tasmania; maybe they get a different market over there and have to lower the minimums.
Rare John&LaLa Posted March 20, 2015 #24 Share Posted March 20, 2015 (edited) We started doing early dining in order to secure those $6 tables  Always packed when 2nd seating gets out Edited March 20, 2015 by John&LaLa
TexCruise371 Posted March 20, 2015 #25 Share Posted March 20, 2015 On Vision last month: Blackjack, single deck was $10 all the time Blackjack multi deck: $5 during the day, $10 at night. 3 Card Poker: $10 all the time.
