Free crusie from Royal-HELP!!

Recommended Posts

You are correct:rolleyes:

Will be thinking of you on my next Free cruise, with free drinks and free speciality dining and free OBC.

And spending my winnings from last cruise LOTS of it:D

Oh and $6k off the normal price of my RS as well for another cruise, at Casino rate exclusive to members

It isn't always negative you know.

Good job, I suppose you are right, as long as you can get the offer to work for your advantage.:D

I was going to call Casino Royale tomorrow and see if there were any dates later in the year that would be available.

I just called Club Royale to give them my feedback about this promotion.

The woman with whom I spoke told me that this is a new benefit they're offering for people who can sail on somewhat short notice and is done quarterly. That's why the cruises listed are all April through June.

It's a shame that I didn't cruise later to get third-quarter cruises listed because I am already sailing on Adventure of the Seas in August, and I might have been able to use such a certificate's benefit for that cruise.

Anyway, I shared my disappointment with this "free cruise" offer and Club Royale can do what they will with that feedback.

I just returned from Independence of the Seas and I also "won" a free cruise from the casino host like you. It's part of their new casino VIP program, but I'm not seeing the benefit.

Like you, I'm disappointed with the list of selected cruises over the next three months. I can't cruise that frequently, and that they have a list of less desirable cruises from which to choose makes the offer even less attractive.

NCL on the other hand gave me a comped cruise on pretty much any cruise I selected within the next 18 months based on a similar amount of play.

Marc,

I ran into a guy on our cruise at the cashier's booth in the casino and casually asked "so, how much did you win?" and he said "I just lost $2,000". I almost choked on my drink when he said that and he was so nonchalant about it. I don't like losing $20 in the casino, let alone $2,000

Daghis, since you were just on the Independence can you tell me if the slots are mostly old reel type or newer video slots?

Yikes! And I thought I had a lot of restrictions on my free cruise I won at Bingo. I don't think I will be using mine, to be honest. Some of the restrictions:

- ship must be more than 365 days old

- must book within 1 year of winning certificate

- Caribbean sailings only

- interior or outside cabin (no balconies)

- sailings 6-8 nights only

- No sailings over a long list of holidays

- No sailings in July or August

- non-transferable

- cruise fare only; no taxes, port charges, gratuities, etc.

I have 2 kids in high school. That leaves me ONE week in the next 12 months that we can go. Unfortunately I do not have anyone to leave my kids with, so I'd have to pay for them, plus whatever airfare, and additional charges. I don't think we can go. :\

I won't be playing Win A Cruise Bingo ever again, LOL.

They are more mechanical and older video slots. There are a few newer video slots, but they are in a minority compared to what you'd find in a more up-to-date casino.
