Need help finding lost item in Cozumel 3/27

Long story, but DH left his tablet in the taxi on 3/27/15. We left Mr. Sancho's beach club around 4pm. His tablet was left in the cab, and we are hoping that whoever rode after him picked it up. It's a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (white) with a black otterbox case. We put our friend's pictures inside the case, that they bought of their kids at Mr. Sancho's.

 

We've talked to Carnival, Mr. Sancho's and the taxi company. I'm hoping someone on one of the cruise ships in port that day picked it up.

So I take it you're a carnival fan but you're posting on every cruise line board that had a ship in Cozumel that day?

We've only cruised carnival so far, and yes ... I'm posting on the other boards hoping other cruisers may have found it.

The problem is there are a lot of non-cruise vacationers as well as locals who could have taken the cab after your DH. The taxi driver could have taken it also and no one would ever know.

Also try posting on the roll calls of the ships in port that day. Hopefully they are still posting in there.

I don't want to be a naysayer but if you talked to the taxi company and the taxi driver didn't turn it in...that tablet is gone!

Sorry OP, but I agree. Was it insured? Perhaps a claim through your home owner's insurance might be your next step.

Well there was the story of the underwater disposible camera that was found somewhere in the Caribbean & the finder tracked down the owner via photos that were in the camera. Took some time from memory, but there's always a chance it seems
