chengkp75 Posted April 1, 2015 #26 Share Posted April 1, 2015 How about "brain box" and "hamster cage"?
navybankerteacher Posted April 1, 2015 #27 Share Posted April 1, 2015 Pointy, yes OK :)But "rounded"? :( Mariners use the correct technical term - "blunt". This website is full of amateurs :D JB :) Actually people burn too many memory cells on such terms: "other" is a valuable multi-purpose term which reduces need for retaining terminology. All you need is "port" or "starboard" - which ever you use apply "other" to the other. Similarly "bow" and "other" or "stern" and "other" suffices. The only important terms needed on a cruise ship or boat are; Rye, water, rocks, and occasionally beer. I've gotten along so far with knowing just those nautical terms.:D
