Is there an ATM on the Emerald Princess?

Son is sailing with us on the Emerald Princess. Uses his ATM card for cash. I know they charge fees but his account refunds all his fees as he travels quite a bit. But is there an ATM on the Emerald for Caribbean sailings or just for European and Exotic sailings? Thank you for your assistance.

Thanks for the prompt replies. I will let my son know. As I said, fees not a problem for him as his bank refunds them. However, the ATM not working might be a problem. Personally, I have never had the need to use the ship ATM but he does not routinely carry cash. Thanks again.

Another option is to go to the Princess website prior to the cruise and from the Gifts and Special Services section buy casino credits for what ever amount you think you might want. I think they come in 3 denominations with the largest being $100. Buy as many as you want. Pay for them when you place the order by credit card. When you get to your cabin there will be a voucher for each casino credit. Take the voucher to the casino cashier and turn it in for its cash value. Then use the cash for what every you want. You do not have to use it to gamble or buy anything else on the ship.

We do this so we have cash for tips or to spend on shore. That way we don't have to have a bunch of cash when we travel to the port to board the ship.

Any idea how the credit card companies treat these "purchases?" Are they deemed cash advances, or merely purchases?

Thanks.

Good question, we never do it that way......

I would think it would be a purchase.
