I like the new look of the Dog House. My DH favorite spot on Allure. Are the bummper cars running at set hours? Is it something that needs to be scheduled or do you just have to get in line during set hours? THANKS

 

Bumper cars do not have to be scheduled by right now they are only running from 9 am to noon on sea days.

 

I am saving the cruise compasses because someone ask to see them and when I get back home I will scan them and post them on the cc boards as those will turn out much better than they seem to do in a photo

If you want to upload the compasses while still on the ship, try installing an app called Office Lens from Microsoft on your phone. It does a pretty amazing of taking a picture of a document (or a white board, etc.) and doing the cropping, straightening, sharpening, etc. to make it seem like the document was scanned. Works incredibly well...and no I don't work for Microsoft.

If you have a moment, would you please let me know if one of the main restaurants has a salad bar on sea days like the Oasis does in the American Icon for lunch? Also, does the 270 have roast beef sandwiches like those from the Central Park Cafe on the Oasis? Thanks again for all the great info.

270 has the roast beef sandwiches and there is a made to order salad bar in American Icon.

I arrived late for the performance of Mama Mia in November and sat way in the back top level of the theatre. I missed the announcement before the show about the 'no photos'

It is so yummy. I had a few on Oasis (Champagne Lounge) - they were clear - I didn't know I could have creamy. On Liberty - Champagne Lounge and asked for a chocolate martini -- got one looking like that. Hmm, what's this - tried it and went - OMG - won't have a non-creamy again. :o:D

they made us leave when you were getting on:(, would have stayed and cruised along with you:), but ......had to go. I am so anxious to see your descriptions of this unique ship. LOVE your postings and photographs, they are always fantastic.

 

we as well did the 911 memorial and museum before the cruise, we did the escorted tour. Cannot recommend it highly enough for those that want an in depth description of the horrible events and the hero's that gave so much.

I LOVE chocolate martinis! Would you believe I never ordered one on my last cruise? I got home and couldn't believe that I had forgotten about them :(

 

Guess I'll just have to book another cruise!
