Something I should know about tendering but do not...

If you have priority tendering, is this just for getting off the boat and not back to it? I have never used it because I was too nervous people would hate me for cutting them in line, haha!

That is correct. Priority tendering is only for getting off the ship.

The night before the tender port you will get a letter in your room with instructions on how to get priority. On the Breeze last month we were told to go to the FTTF line at guest services and tell them we wanted to get on a tender. Somebody from guest services led us down to the front of the line of the tender and we got on.

Stay in the boat??
Stay on the ship?! No way!

 

Tendering happens very seldom (only twice for me in 14 cruises now)

and I do it just for the old-time experience of how many a past traveller went ashore

on what used to be a fairly regular basis, before nine outa ten stops all had piers!

Depends on the itin. We have tendered on every cruise over 3 days long.
