Alaska/Seafood on the Ruby

Hi, we are on the Ruby in September to Alaska. Does anyone know if there will be an Alaska seafood night? I thought I read there would be but for the kife of me I can't find it now. TIA

A new Alaska menu is being implemented. We'll have to wait for the first batch of cruisers to return and see if someone is willing to post the menus. Another thread on the subject was already started...

An Alaska menu would likely be a big hit with my wife but as for me... It's just fish. :rolleyes:

We were on the first Ruby 7 day cruise to Alaska.................had salmon.....many different ways, red king crab, even had a day with caribou I believe.........

I regret I don't have photos of the menus, but we were on the May 31 Ruby Princess sailing and there were quite a few Alaska themed items on the dinner menu - there's a salmon option every night, and then most nights featured something else - halibut that was excellent, kingclip (another fish) that was also excellent, crab legs, etc.

 

The pistachio chocolate dessert (last evening) is not to be missed.

 

Food was excellent, plentiful, huge variety.

 

We had anytime dining and had wonderful service.

Yes, very, very good.

 

Also special alaska menu section in crown grill.

 

They bring the alaska seafood on board in Ketchikan.
