hallasm Posted May 20, 2015 #2 Share Posted May 20, 2015 Depending on your timing there is two options. Cheapest and fastest: From Venezia Piazzale Roma ACTV line 5 or line 35 ATVO VENEZIA EXPRESS service. (price round €3 - 30 minutes from Venezia Piazzale Roma to airport) - pp. Slowest and most expensive (my preferred) From the cruise terminal the The water transport service is provided by Alilaguna (€15pp and two hours from Cruise terminal to airport). ... and then either car or boat shuttle/taxi. JVilleGal Posted May 20, 2015 #3 Share Posted May 20, 2015 You could do it in style with a water taxi down the Grand Canal, under the Rialto Bridge and then a fast run across the Lagoon to Marco Polo! What a way to say good bye to a wonderful trip. Cost approx $125 or you could take a bus less than 15 Euros For me I'd do it in style and have a great memory and wonderful photos :)
TucsonRick Posted May 20, 2015 #4 Share Posted May 20, 2015 We took a taxi and had printed our boarding passes on the ship. With the boarding passes in hand, we were able to skip the very long security lines.

zqvol Posted May 21, 2015 #7 Share Posted May 21, 2015 Our favorite is a private water taxi. Expensive - Yes but oh so worth it.
Dayenu Posted May 21, 2015 #8 Share Posted May 21, 2015 There are several ways, depends how much you want to pay and how well you handle your luggage. There are taxis waiting in Venice port. You can buy transfer from the cruise ship. If the cruise company has a shuttle to P.le Roma, from there you can take a bus (probably a water bus too, vaporetto - that I don't remember if you can). Water taxi too.
Katgoesonholiday Posted May 22, 2015 #9 Share Posted May 22, 2015 We just got a taxi. It was simple and easy. Make sure you allow a stack of time - the lines at the airport are sooooooo slow!
