Lunch ? Mountaintop?

Where is a good place for a quick lunch? I don't want to lose a lot of time, so something good but quick. We'll be downtown shopping about lunch time but also at Mountaintop . Does mountaintop have food?

No they don't, you'd be best having lunch in town. There are great choices like Gladys's, Greenhouse and Cuzzins, but for a quick lunch we'd recommend Coconuts. The address is 5120 Dronningens Gade (Main St) per their "for sale" site, they're actually on the corner of Back Street (Wimmelskafts Gade) which runs parallel to Main 1 block further from the ocean, you can easily get directions from anyone on the street.

 

They have our favorite burger on the island, as well as our favorite Bushwacker (Backstreet Bushwacker). Also love the staff and clientele for conversations, and they'll take your picture and post it on their f book site.

Cuzzin's for local food and drink!! Their Bushwhacker beats the one across the street all to heck. ;)

I have to second Glady's. That is our one must visit stop every time we are in St. Thomas.

For quick, Pasta Go Go near Gladys', Bumpa's on the Waterfront, and E's Garden Teahouse up the street from the Post Office. These are quick, because you order from the counter and the foods they serve are quick to prepare.

Gladys' is great but wouldn't recommend it for a quick lunch.

Wherever you have lunch Mountaintop has their $12 banana daiquiri for dessert.
