All Princess ships have self-serve laundries.

Look on the deck plans, they are pretty much on every cabin deck (either forward or aft) except for Plaza I think.

The laundry rooms on Princess ships also have an iron & ironing board. ;)

Once the washer starts, it will tell you how long before it's done.

Then just make sure you come back at that time to get them out.

 

A lady on our Tahiti cruise last year didn't come back soon enough for this one guy who was waiting. So, he dumped her clothes out. When she confronted him about it, they had words....she went and got her husband...a fist fight started. They were all put off at the next port - according to Laundry Room Gossip :D

We have had the misfortune of having to use the facilities once or twice. They seem to be always crowded - perhaps though not at 2 AM in the morning! One thing not mentioned is that on formal night, using the ironing board most anytime that day is a real challenge as pax press their formal wear after being in a suitcase.

The sensible solution would be to unpack, and as soon as possible press your formal wear, and carefully hang it so it doesn't get crumpled.

They use token when sailing outside USA. They are quarter size tokens.

I've just come back off the Caribbean Princess & it was tokens.

 

Worked out about $8 for 2 x tokens (one to use for washer & one to use for dryer & a different token for the single use soap powder)
