scorpluvsdolphins Posted April 6, 2018 #1676 Share Posted April 6, 2018 ? If the cruise started at the end of December, but ended in January, are the points awarded for 2017 or the 2018? Sent from my iPhone using Forums
OTownNick Posted April 7, 2018 #1677 Share Posted April 7, 2018 I will be on Enchantment next Friday. The last time several months ago they had Prime on my card a few times but that was mid year. I sure hope that changes to Signature. I’ve been on at least 30 cruises last year. I’ll be upset if it’s not Signature, considering how much time I’ve spent in the casino over the past year. I think I’ve proven myself.

Still waiting to here about the benefit of an annual free cruise. I would love to apply my "prime"benefit to a cruise I already have booked for next March because I didn't receive any special casino rate on that cruise. I was on the Oasis in February for a b2b and it was the old program where you had to accumulate 1000 points each cruise to get the sticker for the next cruise. According to a CR representative, your tier starting April 1st is determined by the points you accumulated from July 2016 to December 2017. I am not sure how it is going to work forward. I don't know if the points keep accumulating from year to year or if all points accumulated from April 1st to March 31st will determine your level each term. I do know that we have been assigned one person who we will talk to when calling CR. Not sure how that will work because I call the same number each time and get a different person each time. I may have to ask some questions.
psumother Posted April 7, 2018 #1680 Share Posted April 7, 2018 A little off subject... We have a group doing a slot pull on Adventure during our May 5 sailing. There are 66 of us at 25 pp. The person organizing this reached out to the asst. Casino host about a few small swag for the top three. The asst. Host wanted the group to pay 15% to the casino and move the time and day. Anyone ever had this happen to them? Hi Maryjaden. I am currently on the Grandeur and asked about your issue since I have held slot pulls in the past also. I was told that if you ask the casino to host the slot pull and set up designated slot machines, they do request a percentage. With that said, there must be a misunderstanding. As long as you hold the slot pull yourself, there is no charge. Let them know that you are holding the slot pull. And if you ask them for a few buckets of goodies for prizes, they are usually happy to help out. Good luck.

psumother Posted April 7, 2018 #1683 Share Posted April 7, 2018 On Harmony. Talked with Casino Host. He gave me my sticker. He says it’s a pilot program that has not yet rolled out to Harmony. ???? Sent from my iPhone using Forums I was told it rolled out to all ships on April 1st. Stay on top of them. They should know your tier and you should be receiving the amenities with that tier. I did receive an access code for the internet from the casino host. It was a little piece of paper but it works. They did have to put my sticker on my sea pass. In the past, it has been on my sea pass when I received it. I am on a b2b2b2b and was told that the sticker should be on my sea pass on the next sailing but I would still have to stop by the casino to get my new access code for the internet. Good luck. I may have to ask some questions. I didn’t have any new benefits. Everything was the same. I noticed on 2 or 3 cruises on Majesty I had “Prime” on my Sea Pass Card (I believe it was last Aug-Sept). Someone’s onbiard told me it was a casino thing. I thought that was odd cause I’d never seen that before. Well, as I said before, with the number of cruises and my level of play I better be Signature or I’ll be pissed lol. I usually get $300 off cert min every cruise but get a lot of $400 and $500 offs, with several comp interiors. I’ve gotten comp OV a few times. Before the qualifying period I got a comp balcony. I’ll find out Friday where I stand
OTownNick Posted April 8, 2018 #1686 Share Posted April 8, 2018 Win BIG and get rich everyone. That’s what it’s about now for me- if I get up quickly , a decent amount, (amount depends on the cruise, how much i’d Be happy with at the time or my “goal” for that cruise- could be $350, $400, $500), i QUIT! I don’t care about the certificates or points anymore. There’s been times when my goal on a specific cruise was to win $300-400 and quit. Well, I play roulette and while I’m playing and winning in a particular session, I keep playing until my numbers stop hitting. I don’t count my money while I’m sitting at the table lol. So at times I exceed my goal. Last time I just wanted to win a few hundred. Ended up winning $1,800. But only played 2 hours total so no certificate. Didnt care lol

DianeandMark Posted April 8, 2018 #1689 Share Posted April 8, 2018 Haven’t sailed with RC since Legend was sold and have been giving X a try. I have never received emails from Casino Royale and assumed as it’s been three years since playing the their casinos I would no longer be a member as I thought it was a yearly thing. I’m in Aus and just received an offer (by snail mail) for 2 nights accommodation and $250 off a cruise of my choice to go and meet the team? Trouble is it’s in 2 weeks and the accommodation is in Auckland NZ and would cost us more than that in airfares. Just wondering if this is a new thing with Club Royale or just a new thing for us Aussies? Sent from my iPad using Forums
sandebeach Posted April 9, 2018 #1690 Share Posted April 9, 2018 Several people on other Casino Royale social media groups have mentioned getting the letter in their rooms on Sunday that shows the different tiers. Most people have said they are in the second tier, one person’s husband made the third tier. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Lady Hudson Posted April 9, 2018 #1691 Share Posted April 9, 2018 FYI — I called Casino Royale this morning to book an upcoming cruise. The rep volunteered our new tier levels (both prime) and asked if I had gotten an email (no). My sister called and she was told her account has not been updated yet. Looking forward to booking the two free inside cabins for the two of us as soon as the new lists come out. ( I often get the $s off rather than the free cruise.). Anyone have any idea when that will be? Also looking forward to having the free drinks and no fee in casino for the next year. So far the new program looks good to me. Katherine i called yesterday and they would not confirm my tier but I'm sure it's prime. I also questioned when I can book the free inside cabin and they know nothing about when this will roll out and what the specifics are. It's a waiting game. Katherine I cruise Friday so I’ll find out my tier. I will be upset if I’m not Signature. But the only real difference to ME personally is the balcony vs an inside additional comp. In 2 months I’ll already get free internet through my C&A benefit. Otherwise it’s not much different between Prime and Signature as far as my benefits. sandebeach Posted April 10, 2018 #1696 Share Posted April 10, 2018 I understand that tier point accumulation for the first go-around was based on Sept 2016?-Dec 2017, and then it will be April 1 to March 31. My question is, do the points I earned on my short cruises Feb 2018 and March 2018 (this year) get counted anywhere? scorpluvsdolphins Posted April 10, 2018 #1697 Share Posted April 10, 2018 Hey Nick, What ship are you turning Pinnacle on? Looks like Mine will be on the Rhapsody in December. When is JD going to the Grandeur? He told me he was going to be on the Empress then the grandeur. Any word yet on him? If he is going to be on the Empress for a while I'll try and plan when I turn pinnacle to be on the Empress. BEENSAILING Posted April 10, 2018 #1698 Share Posted April 10, 2018 Nothing in our room telling us about the program, but we did have in free internet password stuff, so that at least lets us know what level we are. The card says CASINO ROYALE INSTANT REWARD and then lists your level Prime, Signature, Master What card? We each had letters in our room with our tier info. Internet offer needs to be accessed with a code which can be gotten from the internet people day of boarding or casino host. I was told that the tier status will also be imprinted on sea pass for my future cruises.
