I object 2 Posted July 9, 2015 Author #76 Share Posted July 9, 2015 We just got off the phone with Princess...Re-booked for the Oct 8 2016 from Rome. The offers we got were satisfactory & made the decision easy. I will not provide details; I cannot guarantee that everyone will get the same. We did not get our casino credit; it's not available on this cruise. Oh well! I couldn't find a sailing from Rome on October 8, 2016 on the Princess website. Maybe it's only available by calling Princess.

Oh well! but if I needed them to immediately book another cruise, we would be out of luck To PescadoAmarillo...if anyone wants they can cancel and then use the credit on any cruise. Steve Can you post the itinerary? I really liked the original one with all the Spanish ports and the only other med TA is on Pacific. kiwimum Posted July 10, 2015 #78 Share Posted July 10, 2015 (edited) The usual boring TA definitely not a valid replacement for the cancelled 2016 Spanish Passage. Edited July 10, 2015 by kiwimum

Sea Day Cruiser Posted July 10, 2015 #80 Share Posted July 10, 2015 The cruise that we were notified was being cancelled has still not been cancelled nor our FCCs or $15 OBC appeared in our Captains Circle account. For us, this isn't an issue because we have other FCCs, but if I needed them to immediately book another cruise, we would be out of luck. I guess I think that's the bigger issue than the amount of the Goodwill OBC. That's strange. I was booked on all 3 of the canceled cruises -- Med, TA, and first Caribbean. Three $15.00 credits showed up in my Captain's Circle account Monday before I even had all the emails about the canceled cruises. A Princess rep called me Tuesday about the Med cruise and I told him to go ahead and officially cancel it and put the future cruise deposit back in my account. The cruise (actually all 3 of them) is still showing up on my Personalizer just like a regular cruise, but the future cruise credit is back on my account. skf Posted July 10, 2015 #81 Share Posted July 10, 2015 The Oct 8 cruise will not show on the Princess site. They must not want to put it up for the public until all those booked for Oct 1 get settled.
Cruise-O-Matic Posted July 14, 2015 #82 Share Posted July 14, 2015 Dw and I are also disappointed about the cancellation. We also had the med cruise scheduled with this for a b2b. Our TA kept trying to find out if there would be a replacement for the Royal TA. Princess could't/wouldn't give any answers. Although much earlier than we were wanting, we canceled the two cruises and we found something similar on the Royal in the opposite direction in April and May 2016 time frame. Princess was also having a sale with free beverage package. (Sip & Sail) So now we will be doing out TA and Med in the Spring rather than in the fall.We will get to Barcelona on TA and Med cruise. Bob
kcfoxy Posted July 15, 2015 #83 Share Posted July 15, 2015 October 8, 2016 TA is now available on Princess site as well as other locations. Embarking Rome, with Livorno, Toulon, Barcelona, Ponta Delgada as port stops and disembarkation in Ft. Lauderdale. 14 days. Sad to see so many inconvenienced by the Dry Dock schedule, but a couple positive things I managed to find...at least these itineraries were cancelled far enough in advance that airfare shouldn't be an issue and those of us needing an accessible (read: handicapped) cabin, have some availability. It would be so lovely if all, non-emergent Dry Docks were locked in to a schedule 2-3 years out, but apparently there is a roulette element to their availability...said the girl with the rose-colored glasses. Booked it a few hours ago. Actually I've never been to Livorno, Toulon, or Barcelona so it worked out well for me. I'm also doing the Sept 6th from SH. Cheers!!
