I don't know anything about the Princess shuttle but I do know that there are other services from SeaTac to take you to Vancouver. I seem to recall that they even took us to the dock for embarkation. At the time it was about $35 pp I think.

Anyone used Princess' transfer from Seatac to ship? What was the cost? Any other options that would be cheaper, especially for a full family of 10?

Try giving Solomon a call at Class A limo 206-245-3540

Reliable and competitively priced. Great guy who we have used for many years. :)

We took a cab and shared a ride with another couple. So with tip (and stuck in traffic) came to total of $60.00 ($30.00 each couple).

Going back to airport only us in cab and no traffic. Came to $50.00.

No lines for cabs, so many both at the airport and cruise terminal.

Nice to just not have to wait for a shuttle. The pier Princess uses in Seattle is pier 91.

You can look on the West Coast Departures board, find a shuttle or limo company, and get a pretty good rate for 10 people. It will definitely be better than Princess rates- it almost always is in all ports to arrange transport on your own versus Princess transfers.

Attached is a file that contains information about transportation from Pier 91 to SeaTac at the termination of the cruise. What it describes is basically what is available in the reverse direction also. With a group of 10, you might be able to work a special deal with either Seattle Express or Shuttle Express so you might want to drop those two company's an email or a phone call and see if you can save some $$ that way also. The phone numbers are on their websites I believe also. If you're interested in taxi service, I'm almost positive that Yellow Cab has a flat rate fare from SeaTac to Pier 91 and vice versa which is, to the best of my memory in the $42-45 range. But don't quote me on that.

Hope this helps. Hope that you have a safe trip to and from Seattle and a great cruise. See you at the pier!

What pier in Seattle...66 or 91. Either way take the airport Skyway train to downtown. You'll need a short 10 minutes taxi to 91. If at 66 you can walk if not in hurry.

Good question but it has to be Pier 91 as that's the only pier that Princess uses in Seattle.

We will be using a shuttle from SeaTac to Pier 91 in August. As a party of 5 so far I have found Express Shuttle to be the cheapest but I'm still looking. I'm not going to pay $24 each way for a Princess transfer.
