Captains club host on celebrity infinity

I am going on the Celebrity Infinity on 8/23/15. Does anyone know who the Captains Club host is?

I was on the Infinity five weeks ago. The Captain's Club hostess was Alexandra Fataccioli. She was fabulous, and I hope to see her again when I am aboard in four weeks. Is Rossy her nickname?

No, Rossy is a replacement for Alexandra. That's her first name. She will only be on Infinity for a couple of cruises, and then return to Equinox.

I am amazed after having done 3 cruises on Celebrity the need to seek out the "Captains Club host". Could someone please enlighten me why such a person is needed?

What I heard, due to the large number of Captain Club members on the August 23rd Alaskan cruise Rossy will be working together with Alexandra. Got to give Celebrity credit for thinking ahead on this one.

The Duties of the host/hostess include

 

Explaining the program to newbies

Checking on you sailing history and pint totals

Signing new members up and coordinating Crown/Anchor reciprocity

Hosting the Elite Coffee break in the morning

Hosting the Elite Cocktail party in the evening

Organizing the Captains Club celebration

Organizing the Senior Officers cocktail party for members

Sending the welcome letters and coupon sheets to your stateroom

Organizing wine tastings, backstage tours, Elite tea, other events for members

 

Probably other things as well, those just came to mind

Now I know why the Captain's Club Host(ess) looks at me sideways sometimes. They have been checking my pint total. :D

Also, organizing the Captain's Tables, sometimes doing future cruise sales, etc

Oh, and AFAIK, while Captains Club representatives used to do Future Cruise sales sometimes, they no longer do this.

On my recent cruise aboard Infinity, the manager of Michael's Club organized the bridge tour, not the Captain's Club hostess as was done in the past.

 

There were no Zenith level passengers aboard during my cruise, so I wonder what else keeps the manager of Michael's Club busy? I never saw more than a handful of people in there when I passed by.

The Michaels Club concierge, in addition to dealing with Zeniths, is there for the upper level suite passengers and any VIP passengers on board.

One more of the vast number of things that the CC Host does... "deal with" a myriad problems, complaints, ridiculous requests from the various members and levels of the Cap'n Club.

And stuff all those Captain's Club envelopes with letters and vouchers for members on the next cruise.
