meltingmoments Posted July 25, 2015 #3 Share Posted July 25, 2015 if he is the one that yells at everyone, that is a must miss for us. Well he most definitely yells and he can't complete a sentence without the F word!!
Rare All-ready2cruise Posted July 25, 2015 #4 Share Posted July 25, 2015 if he is the one that yells at everyone, that is a must miss for us. Well he most definitely yells and he can't complete a sentence without the F word!! Yes, I do believe we'll be missing it as well. Can't stand watching his abusive nature on TV, no way would I put up with it on a ship (mind you, he probably wouldn't really be on the ship). I think it'll be on CCL, not NCL anyway. Illyria Posted July 25, 2015 #5 Share Posted July 25, 2015 Well he most definitely yells and he can't complete a sentence without the F word!! Not true...watch a couple of episodes of Master Chef (the only person swearing this season was one of the contestants!) or Junior Master Chef (Ramsay would never swear in front of the kids). I love his restaurants, they're a special treat when I'm in Vegas. Wouldn't be enough incentive just to book a cruise for it, though.
KarenR122 Posted July 25, 2015 #6 Share Posted July 25, 2015 He's playing a character on TV. He is not really like that. Watch his other shows and that is more towards his personality. I've been a few of his restaurants and they are wonderful. I'd love it if this was true.

Maybe he is playing a character, but that's not what we remember.
Travelling2Some Posted July 25, 2015 #8 Share Posted July 25, 2015 Okay, so he abuses people and uses foul language in public for money? That's not a glowing endorsement of his character. I'll pass.

See that thread for details. Sounds likely it is NCL. I was hoping for an announcement on new Australian itineraries:(.
SuiteTraveler Posted July 25, 2015 #10 Share Posted July 25, 2015 It hasn't escaped my attention that NCL's newest ships seem to be designed around the model of newer Las Vegas casino resorts and anyone who has been to Las Vegas in the last 5 years know that Gordon Ramsay has 3 restaurants there in Caesar's and Paris. Caesar's also has the snow room in their spa. Their casino club is Total Rewards which offers NCL cruises. Hmmm...sounds like there is a relationship... Donna_In_India Posted July 25, 2015 #11 Share Posted July 25, 2015 So....I guess Chef Ramsey is replacing Sponge Bob and Patrick? Seriously, would love to try one of his restaurants but wouldn't entice me onto one of the new ships unless they change up the itineraries!! Kingmaker_inc Posted July 25, 2015 #12 Share Posted July 25, 2015 Maybe he just needs something to do since a huge majority of his restaurant make-overs ended up in closures!!! :D

spidybabe Posted July 26, 2015 #14 Share Posted July 26, 2015 Was just going to say the same. He is wonderful with the children, we love that show, and master chef too. He is only that way on Hell's Kitchen. We met a chef from Masterchef once, and he said he learnt so much from him, he really is nice, and it was a great experience for him...unfortunately he didn't win.... pieshops Posted July 26, 2015 #15 Share Posted July 26, 2015 Really people, it's not like Gorden himself will be on each and every ship and restaurant yelling at people every night lol

Chef Ramsey only acts that way for the American audience since people seem to enjoy it. Master chef and the British shows he is way toned down. Sand and Seas Posted July 26, 2015 #18 Share Posted July 26, 2015 We like Gordon Ramsey's burger place at Planet Hollywood (Las Vegas). Lots of interesting burgers, appetizers, etc. Would be nice if it was a complimentary restaurant like Margaritaville will be on Escape.

But now I can go back to hoping Australia is the new announcement for NCl.
