tnkrbl1970 Posted August 15, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 15, 2015 I've read on older message boards that NCL generally has a strict policy regarding moving children to different age groups. Is this still the case? My 12 yr old will be 5weeks shy of 13 when we board and all the other kids in our large group are older. We would like him to be with the other kids if at all possible. cb at sea Posted August 15, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 15, 2015 Ask when you board....sometimes, they will make an exception....it's not guaranteed, tho!
Rare Keith1010 Posted August 16, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 16, 2015 Usually they are all strict about this but from time they do make exceptions so just best to ask about this after you board. Welcome to Cruise Critic. Keith
mjkacmom Posted August 16, 2015 #4 Share Posted August 16, 2015 I'm going to say there is no way they are letting a 12 year old into entourage. It's not even near the kids club, and they issue a threat that they will swipe key cards if they suspect a child is too young. They sometimes combine the younger groups, but never with the teen club. iceprincess0407 Posted August 16, 2015 #5 Share Posted August 16, 2015 On our Jewel cruise in February I had a friend who's younger brother was a week away from turning 13. They wouldn't allow him to move up. It was a winter break cruise so that may have come into factor.
