Hi we are going on a cruise on Sep 20 was wondering if anyone can help with some accommodation in the area for families 2 adults 2 kids. Close to port Everglades on a budget??

Check out the Embassy Suites on 17th Street.

Main bed room can have either a king size bedroom or 2 double beds.

The sofa in the living room opens to a queen size bed for 2 people.

As the was no indication as to the value of the Budget, can one therefore suggest a two-bed Villa at The Pilars. It will not disappoint :D

This question comes up almost daily on the Florida Departures Board and I too would recommend posting it there.

I highly recommend the Cambria Suites in Ft. Lauderdale. My children and I spent 2 nights then last April. At that time the hotel was only 2 months old. It is a great value for the $. There is a pool and free breakfast. There is also a free shuttle to the cruise port that departs every 10 mins. There are also lots of shops and resturants within walking distance.
