How far from Kusadasi to Ephesus?

Just wondering how far Ephesus is from the port in Kusadasi.

 

Also is it far from Istanbul? I have noticed some ships canceling Istanbul. On our upcoming cruise the only stop in Turkey us Kusadasi. I'm actually glad about that and hoping we are not too near with events going on in Istanbul.

It is about a 30 to 45 minute drive from Kusadasi to Ephesus, depending on traffic.

 

Very long way from Istanbul - like about 570 kms!

Google maps can help out. The beach most of the migrants from Syria are using is Bodrum because it is so close to the Greek island Kos. Many migrants are also making their way to the Greek island, Lesbos which is somewhat north of Kusadasi.

No. Get a map. And get a grip when it comes to Istanbul; a far safer city than many in the US.

You may not be close to Syria, but Turkey and Syria share a border for about 400 KMs.......sorta like the US and Canada.....:)

You best get an Atlas of maps and do some looking s to where you are going on your cruise so you will or will not have to worry about anything.It will be helpful for you .

I think that it is closer to a 20 -25 minute drive, but the short answer is that it is not very far.

I agree wholeheartedly with you about Istanbul. We were there in June and couldn't believe how beautiful and clean it was. We felt very safe. Would really like to go back sometime and spend more time there.
