Hair dryer on Conquest

I believe hair dryers are in the rooms on the Conquest. However, I'm not sure if it will be sufficient for my needs. I have very long hair and am willing to pack my own if the included one is weak. Anyone use one recently?

I was on the Conquest for 3 weeks and I would suggest you take yours if you have no problem. I have short, fine hair and it took forever to get my hair dry with it.

Wifey has thick hair (and an even thicker husband) and says take your own, the ones on board are useless.

It's the same kind of hair dryer you find in any hotel room. I don't like it so I bring my own.

I have long thick curly hair. The hair dryers in hotels and on board Carnival ships seem to work fine for me!:p

Yes, there are hair dryers on the Conquest in the drawer in the desk. It is about 1600 watts but the biggest problem is that you have to hold the button in to make it work. I usually bring my own but it died on the second day so I had to use theirs. It worked but I'm bringing my own again for the next cruise.

I tried using the hair dryer in the cabin one time. I had to keep it running for so long that it overheated and the auto shutoff shut it down. Could use it to finish drying my hair. Fortunately I had my own. Never again will I use theirs.
