Also once we disembark from the cruise ship in San Pedro California what is the best cheapest way to get to LAX? How is the traffic on a Sunday morning to LAX? CruiserBruce Posted September 20, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 20, 2015 If you come over to the West Coast Departures board, here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=413 you will find lots of info, and some local residents who can answer your questions. Also once we disembark from the cruise ship in San Pedro California what is the best cheapest way to get to LAX? How is the traffic on a Sunday morning to LAX? Traffic shouldn't be bad on a Sunday morning, barring accidents or a slow speed car chase...:) There are Shuttles that will be your least expensive way to travel, Super Shuttle, Roadrunner Shuttle are a couple of well known services. If you are on your roll call and other people need a ride from the Port to LAX maybe you would book a shuttle together to save $$. A Shuttle problem is that is they have to make stops to drop people off which can make for a longer car ride to get to your destination. A flat rate car service would be my first choice. This isn't the least expensive way to go, but may save your sanity. You can Google Shuttle services/town car service for a rate quote either by phone or online. Have fun visiting California. SadieN Posted September 20, 2015 #4 Share Posted September 20, 2015 (edited) The cheapest from Pasadena to LAX would be the Gold Line to Union Station ($3, including Tap Card, metro.net), then the Flyaway ($8) to LAX. Instead of the Flyaway an even cheaper route from Union Station is to take the Red/Purple lines --Blue Line-- Green Line--Shuttle. Runs about $6 total, including Tap Card. At port there are shared shuttles for $17. All prices are per person. Cheapest isn't always the best. Edited September 20, 2015 by SadieN
Rare Keith1010 Posted September 20, 2015 #5 Share Posted September 20, 2015 CruiserBruce is correct. West Coast Departure Board is the best place to get information you desire. Keith

Yes, but if it is a US port and you violate the PVSA you will be fined $300 each. You may want to start a new thread.
