MaiTaiMary Posted September 28, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 28, 2015 Our cruise will stop in Puerto Vallarta for two days. One of these days we would really like to spend at an awesome all inclusive resort. Something with a nice pool for the kids and a good beach. Any suggestions? We will have our kids, so something family friendly. Thank you! :D

tonit964 Posted September 29, 2015 #4 Share Posted September 29, 2015 We have been to Las Caletas. We loved it!! That would be a good choice for your family. You can check out the reviews on Trip Advisor and check out videos on You Tube.
lbfluffy Posted September 29, 2015 #5 Share Posted September 29, 2015 We go to Las Caletas every time we visit Puerto Vallarta. We love it. A lot of activities for adults and kids. It's so worth it.
MaiTaiMary Posted September 29, 2015 Author #6 Share Posted September 29, 2015 We've done Las Caletas. Looking for something a little more relaxing! LOL When you have three kids, there isn't a lot of time to just chill out. They make you accompany them on the kids activities and it's on a very rigid schedule. Adults don't really have time to just sit on the beach. I think we had about 45 minutes out of our entire time there. It's an awesome beach, but I want to just spend the day by a pool and/or beach and be able to relax for at least a few hours. :D Oh, and as Las Caletas you get one meal and it's served right when you get there. We had just finished breakfast so we weren't really ready to eat yet. Disappointed it wasn't more of an all inclusive where you could just eat whenever you wanted and do activities whenever you wanted. The beach area was great, but would prefer something a little more leisurely.
lbfluffy Posted October 1, 2015 #7 Share Posted October 1, 2015 It must be the time we went last time because we didn't eat for a couple hours after being there. We never went with little ones so you are right it is a bit busy.
MSN-Travelers Posted October 1, 2015 #8 Share Posted October 1, 2015 (edited) You might contact Paradise Village Resort. It is located on the far southern end of Nuevo Vallarta, immediately north of the airport. It is very family friendly, used to be the place ship's took passengers for their resort/beach break excursions (and might still do so) and used to offer day passes. Enjoy! We went to this resort last December through Carnival's excursion called Exclusive Resort Getaway. It is amazing! Beautiful property, good food, all inclusive drinks, excellent service, gorgeous beach, one adult pool and one family pool with a big water slide... It took about 20 minutes to get there and we had a beautiful, relaxing day. I would not hesitate to book this excursion again!
