Have I dreamt this?

I seem to remember having read that you can get a free bottle of wine if you go to one of the specialty restaurants on the first day of the cruise. Is this the case or is my imagination running wild? And, what would be the case if I where to purchase a three diner package? My appreciation to all helpful responses! :)

Nice imagination, but why stop there, imagine a whole case of wine. ,<smile>. Sadly, you won't get a bottle, or a case, for free. Maybe on some other cruise line, but not on Celebrity.

No free bottle but we've gotten a 50% discount which more than covered the cost of a bottle of wine....

Free bottle of wine when we booked specialty dining the first night on the Summit for the last 2 years. Last year had the package so asked to take it back to the room so we had the convenience of a bottle there.

We've booked specialty restaurants many times first night and have never received a free bottle of wine.

May be just a Summit thing as muster drill is at 8 and makes dining challenging that night so Normandy was pretty empty. But I checked with the other 2 couples we were with and we definitely got free bottles of wine.

Lucky for you! We've only been on Summit once and didn't eat at Normandy 1st night on that trip. We'll look out for this on future trips though, just in case! :D
