St. Martin flight arrivals

Please be aware all the flight times are definitely approximate. We were just at Maho several times and the big KLM was 45 minutes early one day, a few minutes late another. American and Spirit totally out of order and not at published times...etc, etc.

There are a # of other sites, some generally used by pro's in aviation & others do not have the destination a/p info available ... Google is your friend, have fun :D

There's a lot of factors that will affect arrival times.

It's not unusual for a flight to arrive +/- 30 min from the US or +/- 60 min from Europe compared to schedule. It doesn't help that the airlines sometimes pad their schedules to keep their on time performance higher.

Also October 25 is start of the aviation Winter season (simultaneous with the end of daylight savings time in Europe) so the big KLM/ Air France planes might be on a different schedule compared to the previous week.

If you're trying to time certain arrivals your best bet would be to check FlightAware or FlightStats to get the ETA after the flights have departed and then get to Maho a little early just in case.

The "big" planes are the KLM flight (747) and Air France (777). United and American airlines have smaller 737s and 757s that arrive around mid-day. As previously mentioned, the arrival times of the larger jets are posted on the surfboard at the Sunset grill.

That being said, there are dozens of smaller commuter planes that land over the beach throughout the day.

If you plan to stand on the beach behind the departing KLM flight, there is a VERY STRONG jet blast with lots of flying debris, sand, and rocks. We watched a lot of hats and sunglasses fly off people's heads and out into the ocean while we were there.

Right now, there is no beach to stand on - just piled boulders.
