For our disembarkation, we will take the 7pm flight home that means we may not be able to have a good dinner, but rather a lunch at cuban restaurant.

What are the good options for Cuban restaurant that opens during lunch hour?

If you are talking about FLL, the closest Cuban restaurant is El Tamarindo on State Rd 84. I've never been there.

I can recommend Las Vegas on Stirling Rd in Dania/Hollywood and Don Arturo's on SW 27th Ave in Ft Lauderdale. Fuego Latino is a little further north on Commercial Blvd in Ft Lauderdale but they have excellent food.

I'm not sure which are available for lunch ...you didn't say which day of the week.

good Cuban rest' for lunch in the port area are a dime a dozen when you get down to it

your issue is what will you do with your luggage

I'd get in a taxi and tell the driver "I'll buy you lunch and a $20 tip if you take me to YOUR favorite Cuban Sandwich place"

My favorite in Fort Lauderdale are Huevos Cubanos (it's a walk up window with bar stools at the front. Only outdoor seating.

And Las Colinas. You may not find anyone that speaks English there but their Ropa Veija is off the charts good.

I'm a big fan of any of the Havana 1957s in Miami.

Otherwise pretty much anywhere in Little Havana.

Sorry my question was not specific at all - after reading all the questions :(

We disembark on Saturday at FLL (and fly out of FLL later that day at 7pm). We will rent a car so luggage is not an issue and we can pretty much go anywhere we want - distance it not too much of an issue either.

I checked yelp and we are interested in the following restaurants:

Colada

925 Nuevo’s Cubano’s - from the pictures looks like it's not a sit down restaurant. We have a 4 yr old with us so not sure if this is the right choice.

El Tamarindo Cafe

If there are better restaurants around, we will definitely try it out!
