Miami Hop on Hop Off vs city trolley

We have some extra time in Miami after our cruise. Our flight leaves FLL at 5:45. I am debating whether to purchase the Hop on hop off tour, but, see also the Miami Trolley that is free! Other than a narrative by the driver and luggage storage, any other advantage to the Hop on hop off?

Just looking at the routes the HoHo goes to more places & the luggage storage is a big plus & the trip to the airport is included

We did the Hop On Hop Off a couple of years ago. We went the South Beach direction.

It was Soooo Baaaad. I'm not even sure I would recommend it to my MIL :eek:

 

It was extremely hot and very crowded. It was so full, we almost didn't make it back in time to grab luggage and head to airport.

leave plenty of time to get from Miami to FLL. Traffic can be really bad plus the airport can be crowded (long security lines) due to all the cruisers.

I think for you the biggest advantage is the storage of luggage.

 

I would give yourself one hour to get to the Miami Airport and also arrive at least two hours before your flight.
