Is a River Cruise a Good Choice For Me

We just came back from an AMADolce Danube cruise. We rafted with another line's ship at one point and had to walk up and over the sun decks and then down to the dock but a couple of other times with other AMA ships we just walked through the lobbies. Our ship had the canes with the seats that you could borrow and also walking poles. We had a hot tub and another AMA ship we saw had a small pool on top deck. I do not have mobility issues it still noted that Europe isn't as handicapped accessible as we are in the US.

Our Avalon boat docked most often with Viking boats. Rarely with another Avalon.

Going on my first River Cruise in April:D I am really excited:)

 

Actually, I am sailing in 2 weeks on an ocean cruise and yes, it will be

fun but my mind continues to think about AMA;)
