mini-suite perks

I was just asking yesterday not about perks but the difference in size between a spa balcony and a spa suite balcony. The difference in price for two of us was about $400. I decided to just do the spa balcony since it seems the extra square footage is used in the bathroom. I would have seriously considered it if the balcony and space were noticeably different.

You mean a spa mini-suite (category M9), not a "spa suite" (H9), right? (Because $400 more to get the Haven, and also keep the spa access, would have been a steal! :D) Edited by hawkeyetlse

For the 10,000 time.........NCL really needs to change the name of these cabins. Its confusing to new customers

But Lasz lo you only have 28xx posts !

Yeah I get it.

Every four or five weeks this topic comes along to rear it head and stir the

pot of faulty information.

But does NCL read this forum or listen to the compliments (ah er complaints)

from travel agents and perhaps the growing frustration of crew members

explaining "No speak English" can not explain difference "Mini-Suite from a

Suite" !

Some other cruise lines use "Junior Suite" and for some it has full blown

suite amenities and then like the "Mini-Suite" just a badly labeled cabin with

a few stinking extra square centimeters of space (2.54 sounds much better

than 1 inch) and then perhaps an actual bath tub one can sit in instead of

being caressed by a psycho plastic shower curtain.

Well folks the truth be a Mini-xxxxx is really a:

DELUXE BALCONY CABIN

When the ratio of dollars per square footage is considered go with the

Mini (Deluxe Balcony Cabin) if the price is at or very close to the Cabin with

Balcony but don't expect a Butler - these are Deluxe -DIY- cabins you

provide your own Butler service.

If someone is offended by this - I am more than offended that NCL hasn't

clarified this adequately to the traveling public - it takes a forum such as this

to convey what not to expect out of a !UGH! a "Mini-Suite" !!!

One consolation there are not many 'Minis" on the ships.

What NO complimentary Chocolate covered Strawberries - NO bottle of

Sparkling Bubbly - I have to go get my own Room Service without SVC CHG !

Enough - enough - - -

Tongue in Cheek as I write this - Laszlo makes a good point !

Yes, sorry. I have sailed in the Haven before and would have been all over a $400 difference and would have been a no-brainer lol. I meant the spa mini suite.
