CruisinDawn Posted November 27, 2015 #1 Share Posted November 27, 2015 Someone was kind enough to post the current menus so I was able to update mine. :D If you are looking to decide which night to hit Chops or even the Windjammer I hope this helps. Just find out the order for your sailing then let the planning begin! BTW-Eastern Allure is running them Majo, Saffron, Pimento, Shiitake, Basil, Jasmine then Pomodoro Current Royal Menus for the Main Dining Room BonVoyage Dawna
BND Posted November 27, 2015 #2 Share Posted November 27, 2015 I would love to see all the available menus. We usually go on 10+ day cruises and there are something like 14 different menus (some items repeat). We've seen 10 day, but nothing beyond that. Midwestgal Posted November 28, 2015 #3 Share Posted November 28, 2015 Thanks for taking the time to do this. As a cruiser new to Royal (2000 was my only Royal) I was curious what their menu choices would look like. This being said...I'm less than impressed, I find it very blah and not much of it excites me. I think we'll be doing a few specialty venues however I didn't plan on doing more than one. I'm surprised there's no lobster on formal night. Langley Cruisers Posted November 28, 2015 #8 Share Posted November 28, 2015 I'm less than impressed, I find it very blah and not much of it excites me... That's too bad. We are just back from a wonderful 11 night on Serenade and reading the menus again made me smile. The food was delicious, in both the MDR and the WJ. We could always find something yummy. :)
tip Posted November 28, 2015 #9 Share Posted November 28, 2015 Okay, here is another question. We are on a ten day cruise on the Serenade. What are the ten day menus and how do you know upon which menu that they start a rotation?

What are the ten day menus and how do you know upon which menu that they start a rotation? Menus are itinerary dependent. You would have to find a recent review of the same ship on the same itinerary.
Rare h20skibum Posted November 28, 2015 #11 Share Posted November 28, 2015 The prime rib was not offered on the mojo menu on our recent Oasis cruise. It is best to check the menus on the stateroom tv as soon as you board to see the latest offerings.

I wish I knew which menus are being used on the Indy for her 5 night cruises but after perusing them, I found several enjoyable choices for every evening. One question, the every night strip steak, does anyone know if it's any good?

Anything I don't have to cook us a plus, I'm not sure what I was expecting .

They may be able to get you an order, at least that was my experience when the shrimp cocktail was not listed every night.

The food was delicious, in both the MDR and the WJ. We could always find something yummy. :) Well, I hope that is the case because we have Serenade booked for April and I was seriously considering canceling the cruise because of the food we just had on our 10 night Grandeur cruise. Loved everything about the cruise except the food and we turned Diamond on it, but I seriously don't want a repeat of what we just had.
