How to reserve table for two MTD??

 Share

Recommended Posts

We made reservations for the times we wanted each night for MTD for our upcoming cruise on the Oasis. I know this defeats the purpose of MTD dining but we have to work around all the shows we have booked which makes it more restricting.

I did not see anyplace that let us choose to reserve a table for two. Will we have to wait longer even if we have a reservation if we only want a table for two? I was hoping we could let them know ahead of time.

It's generally the rule in MTD that your party sits alone. I've read that it can actully take longer to get seated if you want to sit with others.

villager, you can let them know the first night that you would like a table for two the entire week. You can also request that same table and waitstaff from then on if you are happy. The tables are close- we made some new friends that we ended up sharing a table of four with on the last few nights. :)

If you request the same table ,waitstaff and eat at the same Time every night, the chances are EXTREMELY good that you will get what you want. If you come one night at 6:30 and the next night at 8pm, then your chances of getting the same table are probably not so good! :)

You can request the same table but you may not get it........

But you are more likely than not to get it, and if it is not available you are likely to get a nearby table and the same team of servers. The staff in MTD generally tries to be very accommodating and our overall experience has been quite positive.

We have seen the same just about every time. If we like the table/wait staff the first night, after meal we just stop at the desk and ask to be at that location the rest of the cruise. :)
