A lil help please with NCL "A La Carte" Specialty Dining

We are sailing on NCL Sky on 1/15/16. Anyone experienced the new "Specialty Dining a la carte menu"?

 

When speaking to NCL, we were told if you purchase the dining package @$70 you would order from the "price fixed side of the menu" with little other detail.

 

Any words of wisdom from someone that has seen the a la carte pricing and is the dining package worth it for Le Bistro, Cagneys and Il Adagio on a 3 day cruise?
