I thought I would receive one but still haven't. Maybe this will give me a reason to try a different line.

Whatever tickles your fancy. Are you asking about a casino fare or something else?

In any case trying another cruise line is usually a good thing.

They not great to us in fact we won't do another again.

This past May my other half got a premier offer with $900 cash and I got some cash also but there were issues we experienced that did not appeal to us:

1- We had FTTF didn't realize we had priority boarding but my luggage did not arrive until very late in fact others that didn't have FTTF received theirs first

2- Casino was too packed for us, in fact it was difficult to get slot machines or a spot at the tables

3- They did give us nice gifts when we arrived, the drinks on us card which is useless to us now that the drinks count towards the cheers package (which we always get so we not limited to just the casino for drinks)

4- We were pretty much in the casino day and night and never once did any of our names come up with the drawings, in fact, those who did get their name drawn never really seen them in the casino...wonder whether some of them were staged????

5- If you weren't the first to book the tournaments your out of luck

6- The casino area had more smokers than regular cruises (which didn't bother me but just took notice of it and no I don't smoke either)

7- The slots are tighter/stiffer and the table stakes were raised higher on this cruise.

I do have to admit they treat you very well with nightly goodies, bottles of wine, gifts, etc and the drink service in the casino was not slow either.

My other half plays only slots maximum bet and always wins at least $800-$2k on all our past cruises, on this one he only won $385

Yes, it cost us nearly nothing for this cruise (we had balcony) but the fun just wasn't there for us we rather pay for our cruise and yes, we did get the free interior cruise the last day but we did not use it as it had to be used within three months and we had two land based trips planned for the next couple of months one going to Aruba so we didn't even talk about going or not. But my other half says he never do another one again.

RC has casino specials cruises by the way.

Did you TELL, the porter you dropped your bags with you had FTTF? A sticker needs to be applied to the bag tags for the earlier delivery. The positive, was, you did get your bag. :)

Budget Queen Hello,

Yes, we sure did and I had three tags attached to eat bag that showed FTTF. Yes, my thoughts exactly lucky I got my bag, I have to admit I did think my bag was lost and was worried a lot but it was delivered thank goodness lol.

OP...when did you take your last cruise? Did you receive the drinks on us program, trying to figure out just when you may be offered this type of cruise.

Took one last March. Yes it was a premier cruise. We had a spa balcony.

Agee622 you should of received one somewhere around August thru October, sometimes we don't get the cards in the mail and other times we do but you have to check online as they post what your able to get there, if you don't see it and it expires it disappears.

Also, sometimes when you have a future cruise booked we found as well as others that said the same thing to us that we don't get these offers....its best not to have anything booked and your chances be higher getting the offers.

Are you booked on a cruise already?

I heard the new Premier offers may be out Jan 4th or near then

Carnivals so far has always taken care of us with either Free or Discounted cabins, the DOU card and lots of goodies sent to the room and Free specialty restaurants now n then w wine

I see lots of people complaining about carnival offers etc and threatening to sail another cruise line.... My Suggestion is Try it you'll either be Happy or still complaining.....Remember even if you jump ship to another line you have to build up your casino history with them before you get noticed n comped anything as well, unless you are already established w them

Also case in point......We've cruised NCL plenty of times and Loved their CAS program and received free cabins , drinks , cash etc etc. BUT then they rubbed me wrong one cruise and didn't track my table play or avg bet amounts correctly and told me they'll take care of it....they'll take care of it.....which they only did 1/2 way

Well instead of complaining I jumped ship right back over to Carnival and have been Extremely Happy we did

SO FAR NO points or hour screw ups and the comps couldn't be better

If things went downhill though I'd surely give NCL another chance

For the heck of it some weeks back I called CAS and did a mock booking and was Pleased to hear them still Offer me a free cabin n drink card.

I hope We All get new Premire offers soon.......We're booked on one currently on March 19th but would Love to book another for December or so

Oh and for anyone that's been on a Premier cruise recently remember the Ultra offers should come out between end of June into July

Glad to hear that the new casino offerings will be out Jan. 4th? or around that time. We are booked on a Premier cruise and a casino rate cruise the next week (b2b) later this month and I have not received any new offers since booking these cruises in early fall so in Nov. we booked an NCL cruise with free balcony and drink card. We also have a an 11 day Panama Canal booked for NYE 2016 with NCL because we got a great deal. We go back and forth between the two based on which line gives the best deal. We really do like Carnival so am hoping that they offer some interesting deals. Sorry to hear about your problems with NCL. So far ours have been stress free so am keeping my fingers crossed that it remains that way with NCL,

Good luck on your March Premier cruise!

Interesting issues you had.

1- We had FTTF didn't realize we had priority boarding but my luggage did not arrive until very late in fact others that didn't have FTTF received theirs first

Not sure what that problem has to do with the premier cruise. Sounds like Carnival messed up sending your luggage to your room.

2- Casino was too packed for us, in fact it was difficult to get slot machines or a spot at the tables

That would be a problem. Having said that, I have never seen all spots on tables or all slots filled. SO maybe it was just a unique situation?

3- They did give us nice gifts when we arrived, the drinks on us card which is useless to us now that the drinks count towards the cheers package (which we always get so we not limited to just the casino for drinks)

I can see that being an issue, although for the vast majority of people, the DOU cards aren't useless even with the change.

4- We were pretty much in the casino day and night and never once did any of our names come up with the drawings, in fact, those who did get their name drawn never really seen them in the casino...wonder whether some of them were staged????

Not sure what your complaint is. I like the fact that sometimes people whose names aren't called aren't in the casino because it gave me a better chance.

5- If you weren't the first to book the tournaments your out of luck

I don't play tourneys, so not sure what the rules are? There a limit or something? If so, then wouldn't first come first serve be fine?

6- The casino area had more smokers than regular cruises (which didn't bother me but just took notice of it and no I don't smoke either)

It doesn't bother you but you list it? I'm not sure why premier cruises would have more smokers than other cruises.

7- The slots are tighter/stiffer and the table stakes were raised higher on this cruise.

I don't play the slots, but your anecdotal info that they are tighter is not great evidence. And I haven't seen higher table minimums on the premier cruises I've been on.

My other half plays only slots maximum bet and always wins at least $800-$2k on all our past cruises, on this one he only won $385

No getting around that pesky math.

You do realize you didn't have to gamble, right? You could have done all the other things to have fun on a cruise. And it was basically free.

E & B- I would sail Carnival but NOT on a premier cruise, the Magic that I am booked on isn't a premier cruise. ;)

I'm not a gambler at all, but what is it that makes a premier cruise so terrible? They force you to gamble and you don't like the crowd?

No, if you read my experience on my premier cruise in my first post you understand.

The casinos are more crowded than other cruises and its difficult to find machines as too many people like to gamble on these cruises. You don't have to gamble, but to get one of these you generally have to meet a criteria in the casino playing on past cruises. They tighten the machines a lot more, believe me they are able to loosen and tighten the machines when they want which for us its not as fun obviously lol.

Carnival does treat its better and more players very well, they offer goodies at night such as chocolate covered strawberries, huge wonderful cookies, pastries, bottles of wine during dinner and they give other goodies on these premier cruises such as nice drinking cups, lanyards and a beautiful good beach towel to name a few. If you earn one of these cruises your not expected to have to gamble you don't have to but you won't be given another I think.

So again call others what you want. However your whole problem is you gambled and lost. Sorry to tell you but no matter where you go you can lose. And I have won big and taken big hits at most of the casinos around the country. And I am sure Carnaval does tighten the slots on a premier cruise. After all with the number of cruisers sailing free they need to make up the money. Keep in mind YOU GET NOTHING for free.

I received new premier offers today but I am unable to see the list that you usually see when you click on the offer.

Also got the Premier offers today but they are showing only 3 and 4 day cruises. Maybe they are still updating the list. [i hope] Not really worth air fare for less than a 7 day cruise for us.
