Rare Caroldoll Posted January 13, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 13, 2016 you could call Oceania or call the Canyon Ranch Spa Club (number listed on Oceania site). They will tell you.
Rare pinotlover Posted January 13, 2016 #3 Share Posted January 13, 2016 May depend upon port. Some places require all passengers to disembark, leave the ship, and then re-embark later, when such is scheduled in their port. One can leave their belongings in their cabins, but they must physically leave the ship. I believe the Captain is then required to confirm to the port that all passengers have left the ship. Different rules for different ports/countries!

Usually for about 1 hr when they have to Zero the ship

Rare pinotlover Posted January 13, 2016 #6 Share Posted January 13, 2016 Lyn; One may be able to get back on the ship an hour after unboarding, if local Customs has shown back up to allow it. ;) One may not be able to reboard until regular boarding starts at 11:00 or so, perhaps later. In those ports, it's probably best to plan a day of sightseeing and touring, and just coming back to the ship an hour before sailing. I have seen 11:00 embarkments ,for suites, become 12:00 and later, because the local Customs officials were not there to allow the process to start. Why would one want to waste their day, when they could just be touring the City?

no fuss travel Posted January 13, 2016 #8 Share Posted January 13, 2016 When we did a B2B with Hong Kong being our change port, we did not have to leave the ship that day. We were changing cabins for the second part of the cruise, so we made use of the morning to do that, had a very nice lunch for B2B in the GDR for B2B passengers and then left the ship for the afternoon. In the morning, there was no spa services and in the afternoon the spa staff was doing tours for oncoming passengers and doing new bookings. You could use the facilities, but no staff to help you.
