Britbrie Posted January 20, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 20, 2016 Sorry to ask this, probably the 100th time this has been asked.... Has anyone stayed at the Intercontinental Miami?? If so, what was your experience like? How much was the cab fare to the port? Any tips or tricks? Thank you!!
Langley Cruisers Posted January 20, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 20, 2016 Yes, this has been discussed many times. Here are some threads I found for you. Cab to POM should be no more than $15.00. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2296238&highlight=intercontinental http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2290132&highlight=intercontinental http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2287821&highlight=intercontinental http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2246407&highlight=intercontinental
Britbrie Posted January 20, 2016 Author #3 Share Posted January 20, 2016 I figured it had been brought up a few thousand times, haha. Thank you very much!
Rare Keith1010 Posted January 20, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 20, 2016 If you want a full service hotel it's a nice choice. If you can swing it, go with a club floor room. Taxi around $15.00 and just a few minute ride. Keith
JohninDC Posted January 20, 2016 #5 Share Posted January 20, 2016 Taxi from MIA airport to the IC will run about $25+ on the meter - the ride takes about 15+ minutes, depending upon traffic. Uber might save you some $$ ;)

Bluenose_Cruisers Posted January 22, 2016 #7 Share Posted January 22, 2016 We stayed there in 2014 prior to our 25th anniversary cruise. We upgraded to the club level; definitely worth it! Free afternoon snacks, free evening snacks and drinks, and free breakfast. When I booked the room I mentioned it was our anniversary, and we received a free bottle of sparkling wine with chocolate covered strawberries later that evening. Such a great place!!
