Taxi/Cab fare to the east coast?

We are planning on going to Punta Morena on the east side of Cozumel. What would be a reasonable fare for 20 km / 12.5miles each way?

It should be posted on the fare board, or depending upon your plans you may want to hire the driver for a couple of hours. I think we paid $30+ a couple of years ago one-way.

Yes John is correct. We also paid $30 each way and we arranged for driver to come back - cell service may/may not work on east side and not the usual abundance of taxis wIting like you will find at southern bars.
