I have been working on this for a few weeks.

There she goes

Sailing out to sea

She's the tootiest Dam Ship

All the addicts agree

Toot, toot it's the Westie

Some say she toots too loud

But she continues tooting

Loud and long and Proud

Westie toots when she wants to.

As we cheer her on

She will not sail silent

She toots until she's gone

Toot, toot it's the Westie

Some say she toots too loudly

But she continues tooting

Loud and long and Proud

We love to hear tooting

Tooting is what we crave

We want to view the Westie

And watch fellow addicts wave

Any time

Or anywhere

Just watching our computers

We'll be sitting there

Toot, toot it's the Westie

Some say she toots too loudly

But she continues tooting

Loud and long and Proud

I am hoping that the storm is over for us. Originally here in western PA we were suppose to have gotten 1 - 2 inches. Then they updated it to 2 -4 inches. About 2 AM everything broke lose and the storm moved more north than predicted. By 7 AM we had 9 inches. During the morning we got 4 more inches.

But it sure wrecked our Saturday evening dinner plans. Roads are still horrendous.

It took our lawn man who also does our snow removal 1 1/2 hours to plow our driveway. The borough has been plowing sine early last evening but there is still a lot of ice on the roads.

South of us -- Seven Springs Resort -- has gotten 26 inches and still counting.

A double tracker trailer wrecked on the Turnpike between Summerset and Bedford last evening causing a huge mess. When I last heard, the National Guard was trying to deliver water, meals and gasoline to drivers -- this was around 11 AM and they had been in their cars and trucks since 8:30 last evening.

East coast is really getting hammered.

Wow, thanks for that update KK. Makes me think I will never complain about our rain again. Stay safe, everyone who is getting this storm, and I sure hope cruisers all make it to their ship in time.

If people waited until today to fly from many of the upper east coast states -- they won't make it to their ships.

Many flights have been cancelled. Some were cancelled yesterday as well. And possibly there will be more cancellations tomorrow.

Most of us fly or travel in early for our cruises. But considering that this storm was forecast and tracked for several days, why not pay a penalty and change your flight and get out of dodge early.

Sadly that didn't work for us 2 years ago. We were scheduled to fly out on a Thursday for a Sunday departure out of Tampa.

The Nor'easter started on a Monday and stalled over Charlotte and Atlanta.

We called on Wednesday to see when the airports would re-open. We were told that they wouldn't re-open until mid-day on Friday.

The earliest they could get us out would be on Tuesday of the next week.

Nice to see you back, ?from cruising.:)

Welcome back Mumsy! Hope you had a fabulous trip.

Thanks for the welcome back from Malaysia and Indonesia on the X Millennium. Great trip despite going down with Noro in the middle.

Looking forward to a great sail away.
