How do you pre-purchase onboard credit?

I'm wanting to pre-purchase some onboard credit so that I have as much of my trip paid for in advance as possible, but I can't figure out how to do it. Do I just buy myself a gift certificate? Or is there another way to do it?

Thanks. I have the AMEX offer (mentioned elsewhere and no longer available) that gets me $75 back on a $350 Royal Caribbean purchase. I split my final payment across a bunch of cards that had the offer but I was a little short on one card. I'm hoping that buying myself some OBC will trigger the offer since it will put me over $350 on that card. My TA was supposed to do it but I have not seen the charge so if I can do it myself it's easier.
