Super Bowl on Westerdam???

Hoping someone has been on HAL during Super Bowl last couple of years. We are on Feb 6 sailing on Westerdam to eastern Caribbean. We are also Broncos fans(GO BRONCS!!) so want to watch SB on Sunday 7th. The sports bar on this ship is very small and certainly won't contain everyone for this event. Does anyone know if they have a special venue set up somewhere else for the SB? Assume won't be on room TVs.

We just moved to FL from Denver area year ago after 45 years in Colorado so really MUST see super bowl.

We have been on several different ships on Super Bowl day.

The Queen's Lounge should have a big Screen TV. Some ships had hot dogs, etc. for free -- drinks you had to buy.

It was shown on the cabin TV's as well.

All you have to do is pray that nothing happens to the reception.

We are on a charter cruise starting the day of the Super Bowl; they will be showing it in the Queen's Lounge (is is already on the entertainment schedule we have received).

 

So Queen's Lounge seems to be SOP.

There was a thread last year where numerous passengers confirmed HAL shows the Super Bowl on board.

 

I was on the Rotterdam last month and while we had no sports channels, live NFL games were broadcasted on our tv.

A few years back we were on Zuiderdam. The game was the night before disembarkation. The main showroom was turned into a stadium. Nice "tailgate" type buffet was set up and it was great fun.

 

The only negative is you don't get the commercials as the feed is an international feed. Most of the 'commercials' are for European football and other sports.

Last year on Zaandam heading to Antarctica, they had a lovely party in the theater. Lots of party food there and decorations. Everyone had fun cheering on their teams. Good picture on the huge screen.

I've been cruising on a variety of ships for the Super Bowl and playoffs over the years. It is always broadcast on the cabin TV, as well as at least a couple of places on the ship. It's a pretty good party.
