bose Posted January 26, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 26, 2016 We have a category SD Family Suite with balcony booked on our upcoming cruise on the Dawn. Our balcony is 100 square feet and comes with 2 loungers and 2 chairs. Has anyone requested an extra lounger for their patio? We have three people in our suite and we were hoping to use our patio for lounging in the sun instead of fighting for a spot by the pool. Thanks
Barb Nahoumi Posted January 26, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 26, 2016 Ask your butler or cabin steward once onboard.
pathubia Posted January 26, 2016 #3 Share Posted January 26, 2016 We had one of those suites last January. We loved it!! The only down side is that there is no cover and people walking by on the deck above can look down onto your balcony. I think we were in 12020. bose Posted January 26, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted January 26, 2016 That is our stateroom, 12020. One of the reasons we booked that suite was because the balcony isn't covered and we plan on using the loungers on the balcony. Do you think we can comfortably put three loungers on this balcony? pathubia Posted January 26, 2016 #6 Share Posted January 26, 2016 I am attaching a couple of pictures, you wont be able to fit 3 side by side, but if you put one on the other side, 3 should fit!!

don't-use-real-name Posted January 26, 2016 #9 Share Posted January 26, 2016 To get the maximum room out of your balcony some of the furniture may have to be moved into the inside the cabin. If that doesn't work out then don your robe and go up one deck (13) and go forward to the step terrace sun decks with hot tub. Plenty of room to spread out up there. A year ago I was in 12030 across from the Library and my balcony was set on a angle and was not as useful as yours with larger dimensions. Depending on the direction of ship movement as you exit the elevator/stairwell there are lots of neat small nooks out of the wind yet open to the sun for tanning. The step terrace deck on the bow of the ship has glass panel windbreakers. You will figure it out to your best advantage weather depending !
