Rare John&LaLa Posted February 3, 2016 #101 Share Posted February 3, 2016 That is quite interesting, never would of thought to do that. More common than what you might think
SDA1125 Posted February 3, 2016 #102 Share Posted February 3, 2016 A couple years back on Explorer loved the Croissant Sandwiches at Café Promenade and the cookies. Thanks for the tip of Roast Beef Sandwiches at 270. That's going to be our next cruise. Will be checking that out.
mellibee Posted February 4, 2016 #103 Share Posted February 4, 2016 Breakfast: corned beef hash in the Windjammer. Lunch: ? Nothing really stands out. I usually got salads. Room service: I didn't order. Dinner: any chilled soups, creamed mushrooms, linguini pomondoro, chicken Marsala, pork chop. Sweets: cheesecake pops, some kind of cookie w/cranberries in them, vanilla bean ice cream w/warm chocolate chip cookie (MDR), a banana caramel dessert (MDR), Strawberry kiwi pavlova I'm with you...definitely love the corned beef hash, chilled soups are a must and love the Chicken Marsala. Also, love the braised beef duo and the roasted corn soup. The bread pudding and the chocolate cookies are good too. For lunch - Windjammer french fries...the best fries I've ever had. :)

Rare John&LaLa Posted February 4, 2016 #105 Share Posted February 4, 2016 I've never tried any chilled soups. I will be trying them on my upcoming cruise now. Good luck, they tend to vary from ship to ship. Loved the banana on Freedom, not as good on Brilliance
mellibee Posted February 4, 2016 #106 Share Posted February 4, 2016 I've never tried any chilled soups. I will be trying them on my upcoming cruise now. They are my very fav appetizers on Freedom. The banana rum is my favorite but they are all yummy!
Nado44 Posted February 4, 2016 #107 Share Posted February 4, 2016 On my recent Freedom B2B, I mentally decided that the fried chicken that gets served as a hot appetizer in the Diamond Lounge on certain nights is what I'd consider to be the best culinary experience on RCL. They're big, fat and juicy - and filling enough to forgo dinner.
