RCL - Brilliance soda package

There are 4 of us traveling - 2 adults and 2 boys - none of us are big drinkers but considered buying at least one soda package.....is there a difference is the size of the cups - adult versus kid? Also - if my son is not having soda with dinner....can I use his cup?:D

Thanks for the info - this is our first ever cruise so I am just trying to figure everything out. I thought you needed to buy a drink package and getting one soda for each of us would a waste - after more research it looks like it will be cheaper just to buy by the soda - can we use the freestyle machines or that is that only for the package?

No, the machines are activated by a chip in the cup that comes when you buy the package. You can buy single cans of soda when you feel like having one. Also included at no extra cost is iced tea, lemonade, a couple of flavored waters, coffee, tea, and milk. We have never bought a soda package but have purchased one or two cans.
