RuthC Posted February 2, 2016 #4 Share Posted February 2, 2016 I wish the video had more views of the cabins and less of talking heads. It's where I'm going to live that I want to see. I do like that there will be electrical outlets by the beds. At long last!

RuthC Posted February 2, 2016 #11 Share Posted February 2, 2016 I bet it was shot before they were actually installed. ;) The video said there were mock-up versions of the cabins. 360º views of those would have sufficed.
colonialinnkeeper Posted February 2, 2016 #12 Share Posted February 2, 2016 Like the color palette. Agree, more views of the staterooms would have been nice. Views so quick it was hard to really examine the room.

InTheWASide Posted February 2, 2016 #15 Share Posted February 2, 2016 She said single staterooms spread across multiple decks and locations.... hmmm Yeah, that was on one of Koningsdam's original press releases, but obviously from every deck plan since we know they are all deck 1 forward... Oops! :o
HELENPSL Posted February 3, 2016 #16 Share Posted February 3, 2016 I wish the video had more views of the cabins and less of talking heads. It's where I'm going to live that I want to see. I do like that there will be electrical outlets by the beds. At long last! Wonderful for those of us that use a C-pap machine. Now I won't have to string extension cords all over the cabin! RuthC Posted February 3, 2016 #17 Share Posted February 3, 2016 Wonderful for those of us that use a C-pap machine. Now I won't have to string extension cords all over the cabin! Right! My stewards have always done a nice job of taping the extension cords along the baseboard, and up to the outlet. It's just that it's a royal pain trying to undo the tape that last morning! I'll be happy to get rid of that, at least on the one ship. Maybe I can hope that someday the other ships will have outlets by the bed added? pris993 Posted February 4, 2016 #18 Share Posted February 4, 2016 Checking out the cabin diagrams, looks like no bath tube in balcony cabins... disappointing, that has been one of the pluses for us on HAL. Guess we will stick with Princess mini suites and the older HAL ships.
