Logger1 Posted February 14, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2016 I have never sailed with Princess. On Celebrity they put the beverage packages on sale before our cruise with them. Does princess ever put them on sale?

vickie_bernie Posted February 14, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 14, 2016 i have never seen them put it on sale, but I have seen princess offer it as a booking incentive. Celebrity often offers it as an incentive too - but you still pay for it (it is just hidden), same as Princess. Important to weigh the plus and minuses and costs. Pam in CA Posted February 14, 2016 #4 Share Posted February 14, 2016 No discount on any beverage package either before the cruise or onboard. On the other hand, I believe the package on Princess is cheaper than on Celebrity v
techbluedog Posted February 14, 2016 #5 Share Posted February 14, 2016 we purchased our cruise with the AIBP included in price. Is the notification placed on your cruise card?
Colo Cruiser Posted February 14, 2016 #6 Share Posted February 14, 2016 (edited) we purchased our cruise with the AIBP included in price. Is the notification placed on your cruise card? Yes the sticker should be on your cruise card when you check in. I would print off the verification from in the personalizer and take it with you. Its listed under the onboard reservations tab/scroll to the bottom. It should also be listed in the travel summary when you print that off as well. cantwaitfornextcruise Posted February 14, 2016 #7 Share Posted February 14, 2016 We just got off the Emerald 14 day, we purchased the AIB pre cruise, the sticker was already on our card when we checked in at the end of the first 7 days a new different coloured sticker was delivered to our cabin ready for use the next morning. IMHO AIB on Princess is value for money as it includes tea/coffee/water/soda/cocktails/wine/malted shakes etc

Enjoy If you're Canadian and buy and pay for the package prior to sailing, and you have a large OBC, you end up paying the present high exchange rate, rather than using your on board account and OBC. :D Cato :) Completed Cruises ! I'm very disappointed Princess is phasing this out as I don't want nor drink mocktails or the rest of the "more" stuff.

I'm very disappointed Princess is phasing this out as I don't want nor drink mocktails or the rest of the "more" stuff. I have heard that they are phasing out the just soda package ($5 something per day) and you can no longer get it at all. My kids do that soda and more for $8 something per day. It's expensive and they may or may not get their money's worth, but to us it's worth not having to deal with the possibility of it costing more than that per day

Right now it could be anywhere from par to 1.45. My cruise is booked at 1.35 and that's the exchange rate on anything I pre pay before boarding. It could be quite the deal

Peter. That's the cost of the Australian 10% GST. Don't know why GST wouldn't be applied if purchased AFTER the sailing, unless US-based ships are exempt from paying Australian GST once they've sailed. I'd check your Cruise Personaliser-can't get the All-Inclusive-Beverage-Package as my cruise is only 3 nights, but the Soda and More is AUD$8.69 per day, and that's what is showing up as the price. Still haven't decided whether to pre-purchase it, will have some money from family and friends and have been told to choose what to buy with it-souvenirs; Cocktails; the Soda and More Package; a Specialty Dinner or a Lotus Spa treatment-the choices are endless. I'm changing my mind every day! Your mention of the AIBP, has reminded me I meant to check the price of my preferred liqueur at the local bottle shop, I shall do that tomorrow. Knew I'd forgotten to put something on my shopping list, now I know what it was!
