First NCL Cruise through Caesars

My DH and I will be on the Getaway May 1st from Miami. This is our first NCL cruise ( have done CCL and RCL). We booked it using a certificate through Total Rewards in Las Vegas. I've read through some threads that say our cards will be in our room upon embarkation. Do we also get to board through the CAS line? Any other perks I should know about?

Have fun on your cruise! We are going on our 3rd cruise this year (March 20th) using our Caesars certificates. We have paid the difference and upgraded to better cabins and suites each time. You will have your player cards in your cabin, along with a card to get free drinks in the casino at any time. Most important, you do not have to wait in long lines for check-in & boarding....look for the Casino at Sea signs for check-in - usually much shorter lines (if any). ENJOY!

Don't know if they've changed this or not (it's been 6 months since our last NCL/CAS cruise): Listen for the announcements about cashing in your points on the next to the last day of the cruise.

If you're over a certain number of point, you have the option of having your accumulated points applied against your on board account. This can be a nice reduction in your bill if you've played a lot!

If you have the drink package (UBP) as your promo, use your casino 'free drinks' for things not covered by it. Your casino players card will have a 'free drink' card attached to it since you are an invited CAS guest. You can get bottled water and Red Bull in the casino for free, but not on the UBP. They have to scan your room key card but you won't be charged for it. Have fun!

Yes, use the CAS check-in line. It will be the the far left in the check-in hall. Your player's cards will be in your room. You automatically get a free drink card (good at the casino bar). The casino card will get you free bottled water and coffees at the casino bar (only). (You don't get that with the beverage packages). Make friends with the casino hosts. If you have a decent amount of play, they will comp a dinner. Last night of the cruise, they will cash in your credit for a room credit. If you have made friends with them, they usually comp [a lot] more than what you have actually played.

Next cruise on NCL, try calling CAS directly and see if they will comp or discount a cruise. You will never have to spend time picking up cruise certificates from Total Rewards once you become an established player with CAS.
