39august Posted February 26, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 26, 2016 Can someone please tell me how much a taxi is to Havana Beach Club and if there is a fee to enter this area? A concierge on one of our cruises recommended this, but we didn't try it at that time. I know there is horseback riding offered there, but we are only interested in a beach experience. Pictures seem to indicate there is plenty of natural shade there.
Rare crewsweeper Posted February 26, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 26, 2016 If you google Havana Beach Club Roatan, you'll find a website for booking that includes transportation. Options are for both a day pass and an AI. Not sure if horse back riding is included. The beach is way up on Milton Bight at the northeastern section of the island. Cruise ships dock at either Coxen Hole in the southwestern section or Mahogany Bay on the south shore. No idea what the cost would be. Guessing US$25-30 per person each way. There' only a single road up to the area where Havana Beach is. Since taxis don't "patrol" beaches even on the popular West Bay, you'd have to arrange for the taxi to come back and pick you up at a specific time and hope to heck the driver returns. c-leg5 Posted April 6, 2016 #5 Share Posted April 6, 2016 Their official website is http://beachclubroatan.com Very difficult to keep up with the name changes at this resort! Has it changed names yet again, or is it under new ownership?
aldofont Posted April 6, 2016 #6 Share Posted April 6, 2016 Very difficult to keep up with the name changes at this resort! Has it changed names yet again, or is it under new ownership? It has changed name again. First it was Palm Beach, then Havana Beach, and now simply Beach Club Roatan. As far as I know, same ownership but it's been renovated.
