Searching cruises on X's website.

One caught my eye.

When I clicked to continue, the fare increased $100.

I then decided to check out other cruises to see if it happened again.

No!

Just on the particular cruise I am interested in.

Have you seen this happen to cruises you have searched out?

Need to be more specific. Were you exploring various discounts or looking at particular categories of cabins.

I have noticed that the strip of cabin categories and prices continues to show the lowest-priced cabin in each category even when they are sold out. When you click on that category, the price then jumps to the lowest-priced cabin that is actually available. Given all the problems on the website, coding it so that first screen updates prices dynamically is probably more than we can hope for!

Date of cruise' date=' looked at Veranda fare which is the lowest fare stated. When I clicked on it, the price increased.[/quote']

Try this....click on the inside cabin category which doesn't include any of the perks. What you will see on the top left section are the prices for cabins without perks included....so you can pick your cabin choice from there and the pricing will display as that which you see on the front page as advertised.

Again, be aware, it doesn't include the perks so might not be the better deal.

Thanks, I will give this a try, just to see.
