Riviera-Which Ports Are Tendered Sailing May 21, 2016

I would like to know Riviera will be using tenders at any of these ports.

 

Venice, Italy

Zadar, Croatia

Kotor, Montenegro

Palermo (Sicily), Italy

Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy

Florence/Pisa/Tuscany (Livorno), Italy

Antibes, France

Provence (Marseille), France

Port-Vendres, France

Barcelona, Spain

 

Some I found through my search of the Boards, but felt I should give all the Ports. Those in Red I know. The others I am questioning.

The itinerary on the Oceania web-site indicates whether or not the port is an anchor (i.e. tender) port. For this cruise Port Vendors is the only port where tenders will be used.

According to the itinerary only Port-Vendres, France is a tender port

of course anything is possible things change the Harbour Master is the one in charge of docking spots

When you receive the blue book pertaining to your cruise, look at the itinerary page. Tendered ports will have tiny anchors printed next to them. No problem.

If you go to the Oceania website and look at your itinerary, it also has an "anchor" next to the port name.

Thanks to everyone. I have not been able to travel for approximately four years and forgot a lot of things I used to know.

On our cruise last year on Riviera, the ship tendered into Antibes despite the Oceania website indicating it would dock there. I could not see where there would have been a dock large enough for Riviera in Antibes unless they would be using a dock at some other town.

We did a similar cruise last year and Kotor, Montenegro was a tender port.
