jwweid Posted March 20, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 20, 2016 My husband and I are looking into a cruise for ourselves and three adult daughters (early to mid twenties). We've sailed the Oasis and loved it. My question is what room configuration should we book? Is it cheaper to do a suite or should we book two separate rooms. We would do the balcony ocean view and maybe a regular state room for them. Do the state rooms fit three adults? Thanks!
Clarea Posted March 20, 2016 #2 Share Posted March 20, 2016 I would definitely consider two staterooms in order to have two bathrooms. You could do something like two connected balcony staterooms, where one has either a sofa bed or pullman for the third guest.
Rare Keith1010 Posted March 20, 2016 #3 Share Posted March 20, 2016 I think you would be better in two rooms. Keith
mcchane1 Posted March 20, 2016 #4 Share Posted March 20, 2016 Depending on your budget, 2 regular rooms near each other is probably cheapest. We booked a RFS for our family of 5 adults and it was cheaper than 2 jr suites and you get the gold card perks. YMMV
champagne123 Posted March 20, 2016 #5 Share Posted March 20, 2016 Another vote for two cabins equal two bathrooms.:D
silvermcs Posted March 20, 2016 #6 Share Posted March 20, 2016 We only have one daughter (four of us total) and any configuration that gives you two bathrooms is the way to go. If you can swing a suite, RFS or 2 bedroom Aqua Suite is a nice upgrade.
Grandma Dazzles Posted March 20, 2016 #7 Share Posted March 20, 2016 I would price out different configurations and compare two cabins versus a suite. Keep in mind if you book a full suite you would have suite lounge or concierge lounge, depending on the ship, privileges and other perks.
mrpayroll Posted March 20, 2016 #8 Share Posted March 20, 2016 No way i would cruise with five adults with only one bathroom. I don't care how big the room may be.
mcchane1 Posted March 20, 2016 #9 Share Posted March 20, 2016 I don't think there is one cabin that sleeps 5 that has only one bathroom, but I could be wrong.
KirkNC Posted March 21, 2016 #10 Share Posted March 21, 2016 Two rooms would be my choice.
