Fogfog Posted March 23, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 23, 2016 If I remember correctly there are no bedside plugs... We are in a CC... Sailing this time with CPAP. Advice welcome. My guess is to NOT send the CPAP through with the luggage:eek:

Rare teacherman Posted March 23, 2016 #4 Share Posted March 23, 2016 I carry a 12 foot extension cord in my CPAP bag. The one the ship gives me is always too short.
Grandmaanne7 Posted March 23, 2016 #5 Share Posted March 23, 2016 Call Celebrity ahead of your cruise and inform them that you use a CPAP machine. They will provide an extension cord as well as distilled water. We have done this 3 times with no issues. Rare Keith1010 Posted March 23, 2016 #7 Share Posted March 23, 2016 If you have a TA have them contact Celebrity. If not then I would let them know. It might actually be a good idea to carry your own with you as someone suggested. Keith
deedee290 Posted March 23, 2016 #8 Share Posted March 23, 2016 My husband uses one of these machines. I called the captains club and they wre very nice. They gave us an extension cord and a gallon of purified water to use at no charge

cocker2 Posted March 23, 2016 #10 Share Posted March 23, 2016 I have sailed with a friend who used CPAP. Celebrity sorted everything for her so do not worry but contact them direct or through your TA if you use one. My guess is to NOT send the CPAP through with the luggage:eek: There is a form you can fill out on the Celebrity website to get distilled H2O and a cord reserved. Look in the FAQ:Can Celebrity accommodate my special medical needs Absolutely. We welcome guests with disabilities and special needs and work hard to make sure you experience your best vacation ever. You'll be able to book accessible staterooms, and take advantage of the pool, the casino, the Canyon Ranch SpaClub®, the shows, the restaurants and bars through special accommodations throughout the ship. Please note the ability to accommodate guests with special needs aboard Celebrity Xpedition® is limited. This ship does not have an elevator or accessible staterooms. Also, there is very little wheelchair accessibility on the Galapagos Islands and service animals are not permitted in the Galapagos National Park. Check here for more information. To receive appropriate assistance, be sure to notify our Access Department via email or fax 1-954-628-9622. https://secure.celebritycruises.com/onboard-celebrity/cruise-activities-special-needs-form There is a check off for CPAP/BIPAP machines. Has there been any thought given to spicing up the responses just a touch so it doesn't seem so canned and like a computer is talking? Even just a "catch ya later" or "Glad you picked us, where the ocean and boogie down fun meet" or "Let us help with your CPAP and the motion of the ocean and the purr of your machine will make your night dreamy"
